Matthew Lee nasce a Pesaro e da piccolo si innamora del Rock'n'Roll grazie ai dischi del padre, che gli fa conoscere Elvis Presley e Jerry Lee Lewis.
Dimostrando talento ed amore innato per la musica, decide di frequentare il prestigioso conservatorio G. Rossini di Pesaro, da cui viene però radiato dopo quasi 9 anni, per incompatibilità del suo stile “esuberante” con gli studi classici.
Ma proprio quello stile definito “esuberante” diventa la sua cifra stilistica e la sua fortuna.
Comincia infatti giovanissimo ad esibirsi dal vivo, e la sua carriera live cresce rapidamente: suona prima in Italia, ma presto comincia ad esibirsi in tutta Europa, e dopo il successo in Inghilterra, dove partecipa a numerosi Festival suonando prima di artisti del calibro di Van Morrison e Tom Jones, la stampa inglese lo definisce “The Genius of Rock’n’Roll".
Nel 2010, dopo essersi laureato in Giurisprudenza presso l’Università di Urbino, debutta negli Stati Uniti al “Cincinnati Blues Festival” al fianco di grandi nomi del blues americano. Successivamente il tour lo porta ad esibirsi regolarmente oltre che in Europa anche in Russia, Emirati Arabi, Cina e Africa.
Nel 2015 esce l’album “D’altri Tempi”, pubblicato con la storica etichetta milanese Carosello Records e con il singolo “È tempo d’altri tempi” è il vincitore del Coca Cola Summer Festival e viene definito “il nuovo fenomeno italiano del rock'n'roll”.
Sui social ha grande seguito, e sono ormai famose le sue improvvisazioni al pianoforte negli aeroporti e nelle stazioni, tanto che l'aeroporto di Bruxelles lo ha nominato Ambasciatore dell'aeroporto Charleroi, dove spesso si ferma in occasione delle trasferte all’estero.
Alla fine del 2020 esce l’album “Rock & Love” per la prestigiosa Decca Records (Universal).
Attualmente Matthew ha 7 album all'attivo, e con la sua band è in tour in tutto il mondo, con date in calendario in Francia, Svizzera, Stati Uniti, Dubai, oltre che in Italia.
Il suo show, che unisce brani originali ai grandi classici del rock'n'roll e ad alcune rivisitazioni di grandi successi italiani, è uno spettacolo coinvolgente ed adrenalinico, grazie anche al suo eccezionale virtuosismo al pianoforte che lo rende unico nel panorama della musica internazionale.

Matthew Lee , born in Pesaro, Italy.
From early age he fell in love with Rock ’n’ Roll Music thanks to his father’s records, which introduced him to Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis.
Demonstrating talent and innate love for music, he decided to attend the prestigious G. Rossini conservatory in Pesaro, from which he was, however, expelled after almost 9 years, for incompatibility of his "exuberant" style with classical studies.
But it is precisely his style defined as "exuberant" that becomes his stylistic signature and his future fortune.
Matthew begins very young to perform live, and his live career grows rapidly: he plays first in Italy, but soon begins to perform all over Europe.
After his first success in England, where he opened live concerts of artists like Van Morrison and Tom Jones, and participated at numerous Festivals playing before the likes of, the English press calls him "The Genius of Rock’n'Roll".
In 2010, after graduating in Law from the University of Urbino, he debuted in the United States at the "Cincinnati Blues Festival" alongside big names in American blues. Since then, he has performed regularly in Europe as well as in Russia, the United Arab Emirates, China and Africa.
In 2015 he released the album "D'altri Tempi", published by the historic Milanese label “Carosello Records” and he won the Coca Cola Summer Festival with the single "È tempo d'altri tempi" and from that moment the press called him "the new Italian phenomenon of rock'n'roll".
On social medias he has a great following, and his piano improvisations are now famous in airports and stations all over the world, so much so that Brussels airport has appointed him Ambassador of Charleroi airport, where he often stops during his trips abroad.
At the end of 2020 he released the album "Rock & Love" for the prestigious Decca Records (Universal).
Matthew has seven published albums at the moment, and keeps touring with his band, and already has multiple dates scheduled in France, Switzerland, USA, Dubai, as well as in Italy.
